OSHA Courses

Elliot Laratonda is an Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer for General Industry. OSHA Outreach Training provides essential workplace safety education for employees and supervisors. The OSHA 10-hour course delivers foundational hazard awareness, while the OSHA 30-hour course offers deeper training for leaders and those with safety responsibilities. These classes help Central Pennsylvania employers meet OSHA expectations, reduce injuries, and improve compliance.

OSHA Outreach Training for General Industry

Training will be customized to your organization while meeting required OSHA curriculum. For construction training, see the Safety Training (by topic) page. 

10-Hour

Cost: $500 for course (Min 3 trainees; Max 40 trainees)

Duration: Minimum 2 days

​

Required Topics: OSHA (1hr), Walking/Working Surfaces and Fall Protection (1hr), Fire Safety (1hr), Electrical Safety (1hr), Personal Protective Equipment (1hr), Hazard Communication (1hr)

Electives: Hazardous Materials, Permit-Required Confined Spaces, Lockout/Tagout, Machine Guarding, Welding, Cutting, and Brazing, Introduction to Industrial Hygiene, Bloodborne Pathogens, Ergonomics, Fall Protection, Safety and Health Programs, Powered Industrial Vehicles, Materials Handling

Optional: 2-hours of content best suited for your organization. 

30-Hour

Cost: $1,500 for course (Min 3 trainees; Max 40 trainees)

Duration: Minimum 4 days

​

Required Topics: OSHA (1hr), Managing Safety and Health (2hrs), Walking/Working Surfaces and Fall Protection (1hr), Fire Safety (2hrs), Electrical Safety (2hrs), Personal Protective Equipment (1hr), Hazard Communication (1hr), Materials Handling (2hrs)
